My knee is okay. If I really warm up and stretch and do the foam roller, I can do just about anything I want. It just tightens ups later and needs to be restretched. My shoulder is okay but iffier than I like. I can press the 24kg without pain but need to do it slowly. I'm not confident powering through the movement.
As for swings, I rested when I needed to, but never longer than 20 seconds. I want to get my conditioning up without doing too much overhead stuff (snatches). I believe doing a million swings has tons of carryover to snatches and won't affect my snatch totals that much at the RKC and TSC. however, I don't think I'll be deadlifting over 300 at the TSC. Sumo style is better for me, but way weaker and will take time to bring it up. Wah.
12 minutes of swings? Ughh. Sounds terrible. Did you swing for the whole 12 minutes or take breaks from time to time?
ReplyDeleteSince you hadn't posted in a couple days, I thought maybe you had tweaked your knee or shoulder again. Everything okay?
